Positive Outcomes for Students With Reading Struggles Including Dyslexia Since 1994
We Help Your Child Achieve Academic Success
All parents want their children to read well and be successful in math, no matter what causes their struggles.
We design our tutor services and classes to meet your child’s needs so that they experience success in their regular schools. How do we do this? We create individualized student plans by integrating Science of Reading and Math interventions for the highest efficiency of instruction, delivered under our supervision. Our integrative process sets us apart from tutors trained in only one or two interventions, who follow them as if following a one-size-fits-all recipe. Completing a level of a phonics program does not mean your student(s) is reading, writing, or spelling at or above grade level. Narrow tutoring methods may lead to a student stagnating for years or living life only partially remediated never closing the literacy gap.
We want your student’s time and effort with us to pay off as fast as possible, so we individualize their sessions based on reading and math progress monitoring data. CTW has unique methods of combining Science of Reading and Science of Math interventions for efficiency so that students become competent readers, writers, and spellers and are successful in math. Further, we happily show parents how they can speed progress up by using home activities.
Mission and Vision
The mission of CTW is that your child is a competent reader, writer, and speller, who is successful in math and is equipped with skills for attention, critical thinking, and engagement.
Our vision is that your child sees themselves as a confident and strategic learner in any setting.
Important to note: All students are accepted on a three - session trial basis. CTW does not have the resources or specifically tailored programs to support students with a primary diagnosis or challenge , such as behavioral, oppositional, or emotional disorders, that would otherwise impact their language and math acquisition or our instruction.
CTW admits students of any race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, national/ethnic, or cultural origins. We do not discriminate in administrating our policies, procedures, and services for any prospective student. We celebrate diversity.
